As part of the first group of Western
Artists to be invited to participate in the International Wood SculptureSymposium
at the Nagyatad Sculpture Park in Hungary, it was challenging to create
a work that was monumental amongst the huge Sculptures that existed
in the Park.
Uveg VaRak (Glass Castles) symbolised Islands that by looking through
the doorways in the little glasshouses pinpointed features in the surrounding
landscape. Each glasshouse had mirrors inset and reflected its environment
and the viewer.
