The Cwmaman
Sculpture Symposium took place in the grounds of St Joseph’s Heritage
and Environment Centre where 10 sculptors worked for 12 days –
in the pouring rain – to create carved Oak sculptures for the
local Community Woodland Sculpture Trail.
I carved this ‘Giant
Snail’ which measures about 8’ long and functions as a sculpture,
seat and play structure.
This
project was organised by Communities First – Cwmaman,
Creative Communities, St Joseph’s Church and Cydcoed.
